I would like to thank the exhibitors for making the effort and giving me a quality entry today.
And of course the committee of the club for the usual banter that we always have at this friendly show.
There were a lot of exhibits that I really liked and have judged before but on the day some of them today I felt that their movement let them down, but it comes down to how they do on the day.
On the whole I did not find any exhibits that I thought were poor examples of the breed and in some of the classes I was splitting hairs.
There were some super Dogs to go over and in the Bitches I had an abundance of real quality and in some of the classes decisions were very close, especially in the challenge where there were more than a few who were worthy of winning the C.C. overall I was pleased with both my C.C. & Reserve C.C. winners.
Minor Puppy D. (1)
1. Hadley, BARGEMON BEAUFORD TOURER Young substantial brown boy with good bone, he has a strong head with good eye colour matching his coat, nice neck, well laid shoulders and good front, deep ribcage with good length, he has excellent muscle tone for age, was acting like a typical beardie puppy movement was o.k. at times.

1. Armour & Fletcher, TALRAZ TRAIL BLAZER. Young slate who still looks quite raw, has a balanced head, with flat skull, good eye typical expression, nice lay of shoulder with a nice shaped ribcage, good rear angulation coat is changing at present, moved well.
Yearling D. (3-1 ab)
1. Martin, MAGHULLPAWS STREETBOY. Brown who is not the biggest of dogs, but has a good head and lovely dark eye, giving typical expression, nice shoulders, good depth of rib, a well muscled rear, moved very well.
2. Drumbell, MOJO MAGICAL MYSTERY FOR BETHLYNTEE. Slate with good strength of head, nice dark eye and expression, good shoulders and front, ribcage has good depth with nice length, a nice dog but his movement was a little erratic today.

1. Aughey. LOCHBARRA DARK SHADOW FOR AUGHENAIRD. Masculine slate with good height to length, has good strength of head and muzzle, dark eye, nice expression, has well laid shoulders with good depth and length of ribcage, he is in firm condition a nicely balanced boy finished off with his jacket which has good texture, moved with good gait.
2. Stott. GILLABER BALLINDALLOCH. Brown smaller made than winner but has a pleasing head and nice eye, good shoulder placement, nice shaped ribcage with good depth of chest, a well muscled rear, moved well.
3. Oldham & Thompson. CALSTON MR BOJANGLES. Slate with good head and eye, nice shoulders and front, ribcage has good depth and length, nice rear angulation his coat has good texture, did not move as well as I thought he would.

1. Hannan. TALRAZ PIECE OF HEAVEN. Slate with good strength of head and muzzle, broad skull, good lay of shoulder with good upper arm, deep chest with good length of rib and a firm loin, nice hocks, a well muscled rear which showed in his movement moved with driving gait.
2. Aughey. LOCHBARRA DARK SHADOW FOR AUGHENAIRD.
3. Peart. GILLABER BALLACHULISH FOR TALLUARCHY. Slate with nice shape has a pleasing head with dark eye and nice expression, nice shaped ribcage, good muscle tone moved out very well.

1. Gibb. DYCHIX CAPTAIN JACK. Dog I have seen in the ring glad to have the chance to go over him was not disappointed, he has good height to length ratio, good strong head, lovely dark eye, has well laid shoulders with good upper arm, nice front, a balanced ribcage with good depth and length, a well muscled rear with good angulation in full coat, moved out very well.
2. Crampton. BUMBLERIDGE’S MUFFIN MAN. Brown with strong head and dark brown eye good shoulders and front a balanced ribcage in full coat of good texture, he is well muscled moved really well, nice dog.
3. Millar. RAMSGROVE THYME LORD AT BEARDIEWOOD. Slate who has nice proportions, good head and eye, nice lay of shoulder with good depth of chest and length of rib, in full coat, well muscled throughout I felt he could have moved better.

1. Thorpe. CLAUDALLA JACOB MARLEY AT MERRYTHORPE JW. Super young dog who won a strong class with his overall quality he has matured into a well balanced masculine dog with good bone, has good height to length, a strong head and muzzle with broad skull, lovely dark eyes, a well arched neck going into excellent shoulders good deep chest with good length of rib, firm loin and a level top line which he kept on the move well muscled throughout moved with good gait, I was pleaded to award him The C.C. and later Best in Show.
2. Atkins & Charles. SNIKKLES SEA LAVENDER. JW. Quality blue dog in excellent condition who was a close up second very similar qualities as winner he has a good strong head and broad skull, lovely eye colour matching his coat, excellent shoulders and good front again here good deep chest and a nice shaped ribcage, firm top line, coat almost finished, a well muscled rear, moved out very well I am sure these two will change places on a regular basis. Reserve C.C.
3. Drummond & Forrest. KILTONDALE MID-KNIGHT. Masculine slate dog with strong head and dark eye, deep chest and good front a nice shaped ribcage with deep chest, firm loin and a well muscled rear, in full dark coat moved well.

1. Gill & Cook. RAMSGROVE HOMEWARD BOUND TO GILLABER JW. SH.CM. Nicely balanced blue who I have judged before has a lovely balanced head with good eye colour, nice neck going into excellent lay of shoulder with good upper arm, ribcage has good depth and length, level top line which he kept on the move, good length of back and a well angulated rear, he is well muscled, nice hocks, moved with an easy gait.
2. Felton. KITTIESTONE SEA LORD JW. Dog who looks the part standing, in firm condition throughout, good strong head and muzzle, broad skull, lovely eye matching his coat, again here excellent lay of shoulder deep chest with good length of rib, strong top line and length of back, well angulated rear with good muscle, movement let him down a little today.
3. Paterson. GALLUS ABSOLUTE QUALITY JW. Brown boy with nice outline, nicely balanced have judged before good strength of head lovely dark eye, nice neck and well laid shoulders, good front, nice ribcage with good depth and length, well muscled rear, moved very well.

1. Fox & Farrier. CH BUSHBLADES TRANSACTION JW. Slate with a lovely outline he is a well balanced dog with good height to length ratio, good strong head and dark eye, good neck going into well laid shoulders with good front, deep chest with good length of ribcage, firm loin and a well muscled rear moved with an easy gait.
2. Brown. HIGHGLADE ARCHANGEL. Plainly marked slate a Favourite of mine, again here he is a well balanced dog with good strong head and muzzle broad flat skull and dark eye, typical beardie expression, excellent lay of shoulders with deep chest and good length of ribcage, firm loin he is well muscled throughout, strong top line, have seen him move better.
3. Nicholls-Ward. CH.BUMBLERIDGE’S NAUGHTY’N’NICE JW. SH.CM Sound masculine slate who is worthy of his title, he has a strong head and the darkest of eyes, giving lovely expression, excellent shoulders and front, good depth and length of rib, firm loin, well muscled rear, in full coat, moved really well.

CIOPAR CELTIC RAZZLE’S BOY JW. 8 year old Slate in great condition, with nice outline good head and lovely dark eye with melting expression, god front, excellent shoulders, nice ribcage firm loin, good rear angulaion and a well muscled rear, in full coat of good texture, nice hocks moved very well.
2. Henderson. ROMEGS REVISITED BY SHORDENE. 9 yr slate in full coat nice head and eye, well laid shoulders and good front assembly, nice shaped ribcage, good angulation, moved well.
3. Stott. MOBUFF KASHMIR. 7 yr old typical looking beardie has a nice head and eye, with adequate depth and length of ribcage, felt his movement could have been better.

1. Dumbrell & Lindsay. CH. BETHLYNTEE BANNOCK SH.CM This dog is a real credit to his owner a Sound 11.1/2 yr old dog in full coat and great condition for his age, lovely head and strength of muzzle, dark brown eye matching his rich brown coat, excellent shoulders and front, deep chest with good length of rib, well muscled rear, moved really well.
2. Aughey. AUGHINAIRD CLYDES DOUBLE. 12.1/2 another in good condition an honest slate with good strong head and dark eye, giving that typical beardie expression, nice shaped ribcage, moved well.

1. Parker. OSMART MUFFS JESSICA BLACK. Lovely sweet young girl very feminine and full of her self, at present she is well balanced throughout, did get the chance to see her move I think she has a bright future ahead of her. Pleased to award her Best puppy in Show.
2 Hines. RAMSGROVE HAPPY THYMES. Raw youngster just 7 months here again she is very sweet and balanced throughout for her age nice shaped shoulders with good angulation will mature in time.
3 Curry. BUMBLERIDGE’S KIZZY KOO FOR DAVANKIRK. Brown with nice outline, good head and lovely eye colour, nice shaped body and good angulation, nice hocks moved well.

2. McClymont. REAOSH DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK. Blue who is also very feminine head still maturing good eye colour matching her coat, has nice shoulders and front with good depth of rib, her rear has good muscle tone moved well.
3. Curry. BUMBLERIDGE’S KNAPSACK KID. Bitch who would not settle but has potential nice head & eye has a nice outline did move well in stages first show I believe.

Very pretty bitch who is well balanced she has lovely outline standing, well presented, has good head & eye giving lovely melting expression, good lay of shoulder and upper arm, nice shaped ribcage, good angulation front and rear with nice low set hocks moved very easily with good gait, one to watch.
2. Jay. TALRAZ SWEET HONEY. Blue with lovely feminine head and good eye, lovely expression, nice neck with well laid shoulders and good front, has good depth and length of rib rear with good muscle another good mover.

2. Steel. PATTISHAWL JUST DREAMING. Slate very similar properties as winner lovely head and eye, excellent shoulders and good front, nice ribcage with good depth and length, again here good rear angulation and nice low set hocks moved well for young handler.

1. Hosie. GILLABER BALNACARA AT ALISKYE JW. Lovely Slate in excellent order very well balanced with nice outline, lovely head and eye colour giving melting expression, nice neck & excellent shoulders with good upper arm, well shaped ribcage, a firm top line which she kept on the move, good rear angulation and low set hocks moved with an easy ground covering gait, she had that little bit extra today, was pleased to award her the C.C. and later Reserve Best in Show.
2. Nicholls-Ward. BUMBLERIDGE’S MORNING MIST. Pretty bitch who was a close 2nd again here in excellent order with lovely head and dark eye lovely melting expression excellent lay of shoulders with good front, balanced ribcage with good depth & length, nice rear with good muscle tone and nice hocks another lovely mover, called her back in to challenge for the Reserve C.C. as I thought she was good enough to do so .I am sure her day will come.
3. Brown. HIGHGLADE BLUE ANGEL. Quality girl with lovely head and eye colour matching her coat nice outline excellent shoulders, and balanced ribcage, firm top line good angulated rear with nice hocks lovely mover.

2. Hines. RAMSGROVE RAMBLIN’ ROSE. Another brown with nice height to length, balanced head & dark eye melting expression, well laid shoulders with balanced ribcage of good depth and length, a well muscled rear nice hocks, again here in full coat of good texture, moved very well.
3. Hards. BRAEMORY ISLE OF GIGHA JW. Eye catching slate very feminine nice head & skull lovely dark eye with melting expression, excellent shoulders, deep chest and good length of rib, nice angles and good overall balance could have moved a little better but a nice girl.

Slate who is a favourite of mine she has matured into a lovely bitch, presented in excellent condition, very feminine lovely head and dark eye giving the sweetest expression , excellent shoulders and nice shaped ribcage, firm top line and a well angulated rear with good muscle tone and low set hocks, moved well.
3. Gault. C H. OSMART MAID IN BLACK BY SIOUX FOR LOCHBARRA JW. Slate with nice outline and good height to length with lovely balanced head and dark eye, nice neck and excellent lay of shoulder deep chest with good length of rib in firm condition throughout in full coat, nice hocks moved out well.
