Bearded Collie Club Of Scotland Championship Show – 4th October 2025 Judge: Barry Canty (Bargemon) I should like to thank The Bearded Collie Club of Scotland and its members for giving me the honour of judging their 2025 Championship Show. I should also like to thank my stewards on the day for keeping the ring flowing in such an efficient manner. I am also grateful to all the exhibitors sportsman like behaviour and their attendance on the day given the poor weather conditions the day before and the morning of the show. Thankfully the high winds had lessened and the rain had stopped upon my arrival. I had not judged the breed since 2022 and so the majority of the exhibits were new to me. I enjoyed my day immensely, with some of the decisions, it was a case of splitting hairs to find the winners. On another day, I would not be surprised that some may swap positions as indoor/outdoor environments do variously affect some dogs in different ways.
