DOGS:
Minor Puppy Dog No Entries
Puppy Dog (1 Entry, 0 Absent)
1st - Higgins Potterdale Highland Plus at Allachoy.
10mth old slate with white markings. Liked his size and his height to length ratios. Can be a bit of a handful but his handler was working hard with him. Head is developing well, dark eye and correct bite. Shoulder angulation and rear angulation in balance. Enough length of rib and forechest. Need to settle into himself on the move as not currently showing the forward reaching movement his construction suggests he is capable of. Best Puppy Dog, Res Best Puppy In Show.
Junior Dog (5 Entries, 0 Absent)
1st - Baker & Van De Hoef Malandex Xciting Image.
15mth old slate shown in fit, hard condition and handled to get the best out of him. Still some maturing to do both in body and coat which will improve the look of his height to length ratios. Has a well shaped and proportioned head with a broad, flat skull and dark eye. Shoulders are well set on and they are well angulated, decent length and depth of rib and strong loin. Strong topline held well both on the stand and when moving. Won this class on his free, effortless movement.
2nd - Delaney Rollo De Maeluma at Arranbrae (Imp Esp).
Another 15mth slate who presents an appealing outline, good size for a male. Head is balanced skull to muzzle, decent strength to muzzle, skull could broaden further to advantage. Decent length of neck, shoulder placement and angulation fine, well muscled throughout, strong loin Moved well.
3rd -Costello Calkylona Midnite Shadow.
Liked his size and body proportions. Shown in good coat and condition. Presents well both on the stand and moving unfortunate to meet 1&2 today who I felt had better balance of front and rear angulation and ribbing. Best Scottish Bred Dog

One I have judged before and liked. He presents a good outline and height to length proportions are correct. Has an appealing, masculine head with a dark eye, correct bite and good pigmentation. Shoulders are well set on and angulation is fine, enough rib and strong topline. Not at his most settled today and having a different handler to move him I don’t feel gave him the best chance to show his true potential.
3rd - Cox Strufingill Top Gun for Coirantee.
2yr old slate, shown in good body and coat condition. Head has a decent balance skull to muzzle, dark eye and an appealing expression. Shoulder placement fine, enough rib, level topline which was held on the move.
Post Graduate Dog (2 Entries, 1 Absent)

2yr old slate of good size and body proportions. Head has a broad skull, dark eye, correct bite and strong muzzle. Would prefer better angulation of the shoulder, has decent length of rib, tail set could be lower. Felt he could lose a few pounds to advantage.

1st - Bowden Subessen The Wonder of You JW.
2yr old blue who is still waiting for his coat to finish and colour to improve. Liked his size and his height to length ratios. Head has a good balance skull to muzzle, eye colour fine for a blue. Has shoulders that are well set on and well angulated, enough length of rib, strong loin and rear angulation that matches front. Moved with freedom showing reach and drive.
2nd - Gibb & Dungavell Debbeacol Devil In Disguise at Pirateer.
3yr old slate, smaller type than 1 but has balanced height to length ratios. Shown in good coat and body condition, liked his head and expression. Moved well enough just preferred the freer more effortless movement of 1.
Limit Dog (4 Entries, 1 Absent)
1st - Butcher Sylvabrae Newton’s Law.
4yr old blue who is coming into his own and shown in excellent coat and condition. Commanded the ring today and couldn’t be ignored even though on the move he could set challenges for his handler. Masculine with good head proportions and balance, liked his eye colour expression and pigmentation. Neck flows well into shoulders that are well angulated, enough forechest, decent length of rib, strong loin, rear angulation in harmony with front. On the move he has a free flowing action and shows rear drive and good use of his hocks. Res Dog CC
2nd - Cox Braesnobel Salt N’Peper for Coirantee.
5yr old slate, shown in good coat and body condition. Liked his balanced head, dark eye and expression. Decent shoulder placement, enough length of rib, strong loin and rear angulation. Moved well but couldn’t match the easier, freer action of 1.
3rd - Ayrton Aoibh Drummer Boy JW.
5yr old slate dog. Shown in good body condition but had left his best coat at home. Liked his head with a broad flat skull and correct proportions skull and muzzle. Decent length of neck and flow into shoulders that are well set and angulation is fine, enough length of rib, strong loin, level topline. Movement wasn’t as free
as 1 & 2.

3yr old brown who has ring presence and demands your attention. Well presented to show his classic outline. He has a head that is well.balanced with good proportions, dark eye, proud expression and then my hands just flowed down his neck into well placed shoulders which are well angulated along a rib that is of correct shape and length into strong loin and correct tail set and rear angles that compliment the front. When he sets off to move he is a joy to watch as he eats up the ground with balanced reach an drive appearing to move without effort. Dog CC and Best In Show

Liked her head , decent width of skull, neck flows well into shoulders that are well set on and well angulated. Enough length and depth of rib, firm topline and well muscled hindquarters. Free stood she can have a tendency to tuck her rear in which can make her look shorter than she is. Moved well with good reach and drive and holding a firm topline.

15mth old slate who has good body proportions and an attractive feminine head. Unfortunately giving her handler a hard time today and not showing herself to her full potential.

Post Graduate Bitch (5 Entries, 0 Absent)
1st - Glasgow Gallus Hopes and Dreams.
2yr old brown with an attractive outline that catches the eye. Feminine head but with enough strength and balance skull to muzzle, would like a darker eye to improve her expression. Liked her length of neck and flow into well placed shoulders with good angulation and muscle. Has enough rib, strong loin and level topline, well muscled hindquarters. Well handled and presented. Very sound mover
2nd - Harcourt-Brown Orora’s Pearly Princess.
3yr old slate with size and proportions that are right for a bitch. Shown in excellent coat and condition. Feminine head and appealing expression, would prefer a broader skull and slightly more neck which were the deciding factors for her placement in this class as she was well up with 1 in many areas.
3rd - Gamble Capelaw Celeste.
4yr old slate well put together and well off for type. Has a well balanced and proportioned head. She had a handler to move her and didn’t seem as settled as well as she could be and as a consequence not showing the movement her construction suggested she was capable of.

2nd - Robertson Heather Mist Miss Tillietudlem at Quothquan (Imp Swe).
6yr old brown taller than 1 but with decent height to length proportions. In good body condition and coat. On the move couldn’t match the length of stride and balance of 1.

2yr old slate bitch, well muscled and shown in good coat and body condition. Liked her head, feminine yet with decent width of skull. Level topline both standing and on the move, moved with a free gait covering the ground easily.
2nd - Kuz Kiltondale Memphis Belle at Strufingill.
6yr old slate. Has an appealing head and expression, enough neck, would prefer better shoulder angulation, enough rib. Larger type than 1 but proportions fine. Would benefit from tighter body condition as can have a tendency for her topline to dip.
