I’d like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge our wonderful breed. Thanks also to my 2 stewards who kept things flowing and huge thanks to everyone who brought their lovely beardies along for me to judge.

Veteran Dog (2,0)
1st - Handley’s Ch.Bargemon Baryshnikov At Barkenbear JW ShCM
Lovely dog with good head properties, eyes toning with coat. Good front and rear, nice overall length. Moved well, sympathetically handled. Best veteran and Best Veteran In Show.
2nd - Handley’s Bargemon Beauford Tourer At Barkenbear ShCM
Nice dog who is always well turned out. Well muscled. Moving a little close behind today and didn’t quite have the reach of his kennel-mate.
Minor Puppy Dog (1,0)
1st - Harcourt-Brown’s Orora’s The Emperor
8 month old baby, nice head and eye, good length of neck. Lovely front and rear angles. Good length of rib. Moved very freely giving good reach and drive for one so young. Lovely puppy.
Puppy Dog (3,0)
1st - Savage & McLean’s Talraz Comic Relief At Canaich
Lovely old-fashioned boy, 12 months. Has good head, dark kind eyes. Would like slightly longer neck. Nice front, breadth and depth of chest. Lovely length of rib, good rear angles. Moved well and steady keeping his topline. Best Puppy In Show.
2nd - Costello’s Bradiba’s Brilliant Nutmeg Muffin At Calkylona (Imp Deu)
12 month brown, nice head, prefer slightly darker eye but he is going through the pale stage and should darken with age. Nice front with good length of rib. Moved ok but a bit proud of his tail today.
3rd - MacDonald’s Corimist Firefly
Lovely head and eye, nice shape with profuse coat. Tended to lose his topline on the move and standing.

Lovely boy with correct head properties. Good eye, nice length of neck. Would prefer a bit more forechest. Lovely length of rib. Good angles fore and aft. Moved well.
2nd - Robertson’s Arranbrae Laird Of Quothquan JW
Most of my remarks about the winner apply to this boy. Today was not reaching as well as his brother and could have done with a little more motivation.

Lovely head properties, kind eye. Good length of neck going into good front. Good rear assembly. Moved well with drive.

Lovely blue boy, correct head with eyes toning with coat. Good front, length of rib and depth of chest. Nice rear angles. Lacking a bit of coat at the moment, moved very well. Reserve Best Dog.
2nd - Gamble’s Talraz Look To The Future At Capelaw ShCM
Another lovely boy with good head and beautiful dark eyes. Nice front and rear. Good length of rib. Moved ok but tended to fly his tail a bit today.
3rd - Delaney’s Arranbrae Muy Guapo
Limit (3,0)
1st - Ryan & Black’s Braedoon Highland Laddie At Razkal JW ShCM
Brown boy with good head, eyes toning with coat. Nice size and shape overall. Felt he was carrying a little weight. Good angles fore and aft. Moved well enough to take this class.
2nd - Handley’s Invercoyle Caperdonich At Barkenbear
Blue boy nice head properties. Kind eye. Good front with nice length of rib but felt he was a little over-angulated on rear.
3rd - Gill, Cook & Hosie’s Gillaber Benromach
Was a little unsettled today. Nice overall outline. Moved ok.

1st - Glasgow’s JB De Chester At Gallus
Beautiful blue boy who has matured nicely. Good strong head with expressive eyes toning with coat. Nice length of neck into well laid shoulders. Good breadth and depth of chest and length of rib. Good bend of stifle. Correctly carried tail. Moved with good reach and drive…..loved him. Best Dog and Best In Show

11 year old happy girl with lovely head and eyes. Good front and rear. Nice length of rib, carrying a little bit of weight but still moved well with good reach. Best Special Vintage

Ultra feminine bitch with nice head and dark eyes. Good length of rib, nice angles fore and aft. Would like to see her carrying slightly more weight. Moved well.

Lovely young lady with good head and dark expressive eyes. Well balanced, good length of rib. Nice front and rear angles giving good reach and drive. Reserve Best Bitch

Lovely dark girl who left her jacket at home. Nice head and eyes, good length of neck with correct front and rear angles….good shape and length of ribcage. Quite proud of her tail today but moved very well when she wanted to.
2nd - Higgins' Innkalies Miss Marple
Old-fashioned girl with nice head and eye. Good front, lovely shape. Moved well, just preferred the rear movement of the 1st.
3rd - Haymarch’s Arranbrae Spanish Eyes
Lovely head and eyes. Would prefer slightly longer length of rib. Front and rear angles ok but felt she was roaching slightly both on the move and standing.

Super girl with good head properties, dark expressive eyes, nice length of neck into good shoulders. Lovely front with good length of rib, nice bend of stifle. Moved easily giving good reach and drive. Best Bitch, Reserve Best In Show and Best Opposite Sex In Show.
2nd - Peart’s Talluarchy Angel Wings ShCM
Another lovely girl who has a lovely head with dark eye. Good length of rib and nice angles front and rear. Moved very well … was just unlucky to meet winner today.
